Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cheater ZuD!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Contreras has a takedown stuffed.
Contreras tries to close the distance and clinch but ZuD swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Contreras is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

and ZuD counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Contreras thinking.
ZuD moves out of range of the leg kick from Contreras.
Contreras shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has ZuD pinned against the cage. ZuD gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Contreras scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
ZuD is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Contreras seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down ZuD for as long as he can get away with.

Contreras changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. ZuD tries to avoid it but Contreras manages to keep hold of a leg and drag ZuD to the ground. ZuD escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Contreras shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as ZuD sprawls well. ZuD wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Contreras gets slowly back to his feet.
