Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Coheed Kilgannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Porthos DuBois (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kilgannon comes to the cage accompanied by Everything Evil. The crowd seem to be enjoying DuBois's choice of entrance music: Sous le sign des mousquetaires. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Coheed Kilgannon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Porthos DuBois! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kilgannon gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kilgannon wants to get back to his feet but DuBois is in a dominant position and won't allow it. DuBois in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. DuBois controlling from the top position. DuBois throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kilgannon works some decent striking defense from the bottom. DuBois looking to pass the guard. Kilgannon lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for DuBois! DuBois wants to hold on but Kilgannon pushes him away. DuBois is in all sorts of trouble here.
DuBois is squirming around, avoiding Kilgannon's attempts to control the action. DuBois wants to control but Kilgannon is having none of it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if DuBois can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. DuBois tries to reverse the position but Kilgannon maintains control. DuBois is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. DuBois really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kilgannon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kilgannon can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as DuBois is looking to escape. DuBois is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Kilgannon looking to control but DuBois is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. DuBois is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. DuBois holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Kilgannon tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Kilgannon pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Kilgannon throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. DuBois working to try and regain half guard.
DuBois wants to hold on but Kilgannon pushes him away. DuBois keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
DuBois is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Kilgannon putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Kilgannon misses with a head shot. DuBois takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Kilgannon with shots to the head and body - DuBois looks very uncomfortable down there. Kilgannon looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. DuBois really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Kilgannon is landing with some decent strikes but DuBois is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kilgannon breaks from DuBois's wrist control and lands an elbow. Kilgannon looking to control but DuBois is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. DuBois tries to hold on but Kilgannon pushes him away. Kilgannon will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. DuBois really wants to buck Kilgannon off and get back to his feet. DuBois looks gassed! DuBois wants to hold on but Kilgannon pushes him away. Kilgannon trying to control but he's not successful this time. DuBois is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. DuBois is working to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kilgannon punishing his opponent with strikes. Kilgannon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kilgannon looking to control but DuBois is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Kilgannon misses with a head shot. DuBois regains half guard. Kilgannon tries to stand but can't do so whilst DuBois controls his leg. DuBois gets full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. DuBois has Kilgannon pulled in close to control his posture. Kilgannon postures up in DuBois's guard and throws a big left but DuBois blocks it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Coheed Kilgannon will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
DuBois shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. DuBois shoots in but no luck this time. Kilgannon fails with an attempt to clinch.
A lazy left from Kilgannon finds it's target. Kilgannon lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kilgannon moves into the clinch. Kilgannon lands on the inside with an uppercut. Kilgannon wants to break the clinch but can't.
Kilgannon prevents a takedown attempt there.
Coheed Kilgannon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Porthos DuBois. Kilgannon drops to a knee looking for a takedown but DuBois gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Kilgannon breaks from the clinch.
Kilgannon shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. DuBois is trying to escape the mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kilgannon looking to control but DuBois is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Kilgannon with shots to the head and body - DuBois looks very uncomfortable down there. DuBois wants to hold on but Kilgannon pushes him away. Kilgannon has control of DuBois's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and DuBois regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Kilgannon avoids the attempt from DuBois to control. DuBois blocking the ground and pound. Kilgannon lands a nice shot to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Kilgannon looking to ground and pound but DuBois is blocking nicely. Kilgannon cracks DuBois with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
DuBois bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Hammerfist, elbow! yells DuBois's corner. There ya go! There ya go! DuBois scoring with some ground and pound. DuBois is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Kilgannon wants to get back to his feet but DuBois is in a dominant position and won't allow it. DuBois looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kilgannon throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
DuBois working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. DuBois must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kilgannon is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Kilgannon lands with a heel strike from the guard.
Kilgannon wants to stand and escape but DuBois is having none of it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kilgannon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kilgannon closes the distance and clinches. DuBois has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kilgannon is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Kilgannon goes for a takedown attempt but DuBois pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
DuBois misses with a wild body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Nice sprawl there from DuBois as Kilgannon shoots in. Kilgannon closes this distance looking for a takedown but DuBois circles away. Kilgannon closes the distance and lands a one-two. Kilgannon misses with a takedown attempt - DuBois sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Kilgannon fails with the takedown. DuBois fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kilgannon fails to land with a series of punches.

DuBois moves out of range of the body kick from Kilgannon.
Kilgannon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kilgannon misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from DuBois.
DuBois scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. DuBois controls the position from side control. Kilgannon is not content to let DuBois control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Coheed Kilgannon will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
DuBois tries for a takedown but Kilgannon sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Coheed Kilgannon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kilgannon looks to land a combination but DuBois avoids it well. Kilgannon shoots in but no luck this time. Kilgannon scores with a one two! DuBois had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Kilgannon tries to close the distance and clinch but DuBois swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. DuBois wants to clinch and Kilgannon counters with a nice uppercut. Kilgannon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around DuBois's waist but DuBois gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kilgannon off to one side. DuBois shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. DuBois showed some decent athleticism there. DuBois performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Kilgannon trying to control here.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. DuBois is taking a breather. Kilgannon says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Kilgannon wants to improve his position but DuBois is controlling well.
DuBois content to control rather than advance. Kilgannon tries to get to full guard but DuBois has control of the leg. DuBois drops an elbow to the side of Kilgannon's head. DuBois controlling the action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Kilgannon is looking to control DuBois's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kilgannon avoid being mounted? DuBois tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Kilgannon. DuBois is looking to take a break and control but Kilgannon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. DuBois is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Porthos DuBois has got the better of the ground game so far. Kilgannon is trying to stand up here but DuBois is controlling him well. DuBois is controlling the pace.

And that's the end of the fight! Porthos DuBois comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Kilgannon has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
