PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dan Jordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bull Terrier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Terrier has chosen Closer - Nine Inch Nales as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bull Terrier was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bull Terrier!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jordon takes the fight into the clinch.
Jordon is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Terrier pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Terrier can't break the clinch.
Jordon prevents Terrier from breaking the clinch.

Jordon throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Terrier throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jordon fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Terrier has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Jordon has closed the distance and engaged Terrier in a clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jordon connects with a knee to the head.
Jordon swings wildly with an uppercut but Terrier uses good head movement to avoid it.
Terrier prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Jordon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jordon tries to land knees in the clinch but Terrier avoids the damage to the body.

Jordon tries to close the distance and clinch but Terrier swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Terrier paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jordon lands with a nice body punch.
Terrier throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jordon sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Good exchange - Terrier coming out on top.
Terrier fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Jordon drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Jordon wants to pass the guard but Terrier is keeping the position.

Terrier pushes Jordon off and gets back to his feet.
Terrier throws a nice looking combination but Jordon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jordon tries a head kick but it misses.

Jordon swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jordon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jordon tries to clinch but Terrier moves out of range.

Jordon tries for a takedown but Terrier sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jordon takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Jordon looks to score with a jab to the body but Terrier is just out of range.
Terrier has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Jordon tries to score with a low kick but Terrier moves his leg out of the way.

Terrier lands a right hand that snaps the head of Jordon backwards.
Terrier lands with a short shot to the head.

Terrier jabs at Jordon's body.
Terrier scores with a shot to the body.
Terrier scores with a jab. Jordon acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Jordon is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Terrier works Jordon's body with a nice hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Terrier bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jordon's head backwards.
Terrier lands a head shot.
Terrier feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Jordons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Oh Jordon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Terrier lands with a shot to the body.
Terrier ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Jordon out cold! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bull Terrier!
Bull Terrier really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Malicestar logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
