The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McFart Pants shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. McFart Pants showed some decent athleticism there.
McFart Pants is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Castle defends it well.
McFart Pants is thwarting Castle's attempts to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McFart Pants is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Castle is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Castle is staying active underneath McFart Pants, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Castle is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but McFart Pants pulls his head out easily.

Castle is trying to get back to full guard.
McFart Pants sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Castle defending well though.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Castle shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and McFart Pants counters with a nice low kick that buckles Castle's knee momentarily.
McFart Pants closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - McFart Pants lands in his opponent's guard.
McFart Pants working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
McFart Pants drops back looking for a leg! Castle is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Castle manages to kick McFart Pants off! McFart Pants jumps back into Castle's guard.
Castle pushes a forearm under McFart Pants's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, McFart Pants is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
