Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rodney Ang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Van Damme (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ang's entrance music is ACDC- Long Way To The Top. A fine choice. Damme has chosen Fight to Survive as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ang takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
The fight stays on the outside here - Damme looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Damme moves in looking to clinch but Ang pushes him off.
Ang missing with a left hand there. Damme was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Ang throws a hook but Damme avoids it easily.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Damme has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Damme and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
