Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Little Secrets - Passion Pit. James has chosen Tuesday's Gone as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Maverick Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tommy James!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
James wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
James cracks Jones with a solid left hand.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jones decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on James, up you get!
Jones tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tommy James dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Jones closes the distance and pushes James back into the cage.
James is trying to drag Jones to the mat but Jones just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Jones prevents James from breaking the clinch.

The referee calls for James to work.
Jones tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and James avoids it.
Jones is looking to control James's arms but James gets an underhook and turns him. Now Jones has his back to the cage.

James tightens his grip and picks Jones up, before dumping him to the ground. Jones manages to land in guard.

James has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
James lands a couple of elbows.

Jones is rocked!
James loads up on a big left hand. Jones felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - James looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Jones can't hide his disappointment, as James celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tommy James!
Post fight, Tommy James stared into the camera and said 'I want to thank you guys for coming out tonight, my team at Nacho Libre Gym, all of my loved ones back home and King Justus for letting me fight here in the OFC!!'.
