Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Spyde Radic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julius Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Julius Brown!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and David Schapiro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Radic tries a head kick but it misses.
Brown fails in his attempt to clinch.

Brown instigates a clinch.

Brown tightens his grip and picks Radic up, before dumping him to the ground. Radic manages to land in guard.
Brown controls from within his opponent's guard.
Brown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Radic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Brown thows a big elbow that misses.
Brown controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Radic striking off his back but it's not causing Brown any problems.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Radic throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Radic trying to keep a closed guard but Brown is proving a slippery customer.
Brown trying to control the position from guard on top but Radic is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Radic wants to sweep here but Brown controlling him for the moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Radic bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Radic fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Brown clinches up against the cage.

Brown manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Radic prevents Brown from getting back to his feet.
Radic wants to stand but Brown has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Radic stops Brown from standing up.
Brown is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Radic drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Brown manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Radic has Brown in his guard.

Brown drops back, looking for a kneebar! Radic looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Radic looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Radic!

Brown is looking for a sweep.
Radic tries to move to mount but Brown blocks the move with his legs.
Radic is looking to take a break and control but Brown is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Radic has hold of Brown's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Brown seems comfortable defending it but Radic has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Brown is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Brown is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Radic couldn't care less - he's delighted!
