Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 19 - 1, fighting out of London, Steve Fisher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Lee Jun Fan! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Fan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Fan misses with a combination
and Fisher counters with a nice uppercut. Fan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fisher. Fisher is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Fisher throws a half hearted mid kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fan tries a low kick but Fisher avoids it. Fisher rushes Fan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Fisher misses with a knee strike.
Fisher has Fan pressed against the cage, preventing Fan from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Fisher fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Fisher struggles to land a body shot inside as Fan controls his hands.

Fisher works on Fan's body with a couple of short punches. Fisher misses with a hook from the clinch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fisher with a knee to the head.
It looks like Lee Jun Fan has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fisher throws a punch but it's blocked by Fan. Fisher fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Fan prevents a takedown attempt there.
Fan blocks an elbow strike. Fisher throws a knee to the head but misses.
Fisher misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Fisher lands with a short head shot on the inside. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Fisher. Fan tightens his grip and picks Fisher up, before dumping him to the ground. Fisher manages to land in guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Fisher manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Fan misses with a few strikes there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fisher fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steve Fisher. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fan misses with a double jab.
Fisher scores with a takedown into Fan's guard. Fisher sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fan's guard. Fisher sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Fan defending well though. Fan wants to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fan is looking to get back to is feet but Fisher passes into side control.
Fisher is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Fan is trying to escape and Fisher transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Fan is forced to tap! Nice work there by Fisher! Very nice indeed!
