The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean tries to clinch up but Hammerstorm circles away and keeps his distance.
Hammerstorm circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hammerstorm closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dean to the mat! Dean manages to get full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hammerstorm trying to control but Dean is working from the bottom.
Dean looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Hammerstorm wants to stand but Dean has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Hammerstorm trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hammerstorm trying to control the position from guard on top but Dean is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dean has his foot on Hammerstorm's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hammerstorm works his way back into a safe position though.
Hammerstorm content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hammerstorm has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Dean to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hammerstorm is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Dean pulls down on the head and he's put Hammerstorm to sleep! This one is all over!
