Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kurt the wrestler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomato Can (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kurt the wrestler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tomato Can! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! the wrestler misses with a takedown attempt - Can sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Can has the wrestler up against the cage in a clinch.
A body shot lands from Can.
the wrestler wants to get back to striking at distance but Can won't allow it.
Can tried to land a shot to the body but connects with the wrestler's elbow. A right hand to the body from Can.
the wrestler can't break the clinch.
A hook to the body from Can.

the wrestler misses with a straight left. No luck for the wrestler with that takedown attempt. the wrestler throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Can digs a right hand underneath the wrestler's ribcage. the wrestler let out a lung full of air as it connected. the wrestler is breathing heavily. Can scores with a shot to the side of the wrestler's head. Can gets a trip takedown into half guard. Can decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Can clinches up against the cage. the wrestler is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. the wrestler is looking to break free of the clinch but Can has double underhooks. Can lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down the wrestler. Can keeps control of the wrestler as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Can gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. the wrestler tries to roll over but Can keeps him under control. the wrestler is looking to control Can's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can the wrestler avoid being mounted? Can stands up out of the half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. the wrestler keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. the wrestler connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Can's hands. the wrestler throws a series of punches but Can avoids them all with ease. Can throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. the wrestler's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and the wrestler duly obliges. the wrestler throws out a loose jab but Can uses good head movement to avoid it. the wrestler scores with a jab to the jaw. Nice body punch from the wrestler. the wrestler throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
the wrestler shoots for a double leg takedown but Can sprawls well. He's pushed the wrestler's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kurt the wrestler. That's going to take a lot out of him. the wrestler keeps the fight on the outside. Can tries to clinch up but the wrestler circles away and keeps his distance. the wrestler just misses with a punch to the body.
Can keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
the wrestler smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Can takes a jab right on the kisser.

Can scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. the wrestler misses with a wild body shot. the wrestler misses with a takedown attempt and Can decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in the wrestler's guard. the wrestler wants to sweep here but Can controlling him for the moment. Can seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Can postures up.
the wrestler looking to hit a scissor sweep but Can is one step ahead there. the wrestler looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Can is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. the wrestler throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Can won't allow the wrestler to sweep him here.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Can throws a right and a left that the wrestler avoids nicely. Can fakes high and swings low for a body shot but the wrestler manages to avoid it. Can shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Can controlling the position easily from mount. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Let's hope that Can has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. I looks like Can might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. the wrestler is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tomato Can dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Can just misses with a punch to the body.
the wrestler moves out of range as Can strikes. Kurt the wrestler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. the wrestler doesn't succeed with the takedown so Can counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Can content to stall in guard here. Can stands up from guard. Let's bang! Can takes a swing at the wrestler's ribcage but misses. the wrestler on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
A combination from the wrestler does no damage. Can steps to the side to avoid the strikes from the wrestler. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Can throws out a loose jab but the wrestler uses good head movement to avoid it. the wrestler fails to land with a series of punches.
the wrestler with a lazy takedown attempt and Can counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for the wrestler! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Can controlling his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. the wrestler is looking to improve his position but Can isn't that keen on the idea. the wrestler slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. the wrestler wants to get back to full guard. Can missing with the ground and pound from half guard. the wrestler is looking for a sweep. Can is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. the wrestler regains full guard. Nicely done. the wrestler is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Can avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Can showing good wrestling skills to control the position. the wrestler tries to land a sweep but no joy. Tomato Can has got the better of the ground game so far. Can slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. the wrestler throws his legs up looking for a submission but Can uses it to pass to side control.
Can stands up. the wrestler throws a body punch but Can moves out of range. Kurt the wrestler is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. the wrestler throws a wild combination but nothing lands. the wrestler tries for a takedown but Can circles away easily and Can moves into the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kurt the wrestler. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Can distracts the wrestler with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. the wrestler trying to control the position.
the wrestler can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Can controls the pace. Can stands up from guard. Let's bang! the wrestler lands a body shot.
the wrestler getting the better of the striking in that exchange. the wrestler will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Tomato Can showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Can prevents the wrestler from breaking the clinch. Can lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Can is working the wrestler over against the cage. Can escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Can slips a jab from the wrestler. the wrestler throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. the wrestler takes a swing at Can's ribcage but misses. the wrestler will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. the wrestler rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Can moves out of range and avoids them all easily. the wrestler misses with a body shot.
Can drives through and clinches with the wrestler against the cage.
the wrestler wants to get back to striking at distance but Can won't allow it.
Can digs a right hand into the wrestler's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on the wrestler's gas tank. Can has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but the wrestler regains guard immediately. Can decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Can moves in looking to clinch but the wrestler pushes him off. the wrestler doesn't succeed with the takedown and Can counters with a nice body shot. Some wild striking there from the wrestler.
Can walks into a straight right hand from the wrestler.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Can keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

the wrestler throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
the wrestler works Can's body with a nice hook. the wrestler thows a body shot but no joy. the wrestler throws a body punch but Can moves out of range. the wrestler gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Can. the wrestler fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Can on the side of the head. the wrestler shoots in but Can avoids the takedown attempt easily. Can stuffs the takedown attempt from the wrestler. the wrestler gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kurt the wrestler. That's going to take a lot out of him. Can swings for the body but the wrestler moves out of range.

No joy there for the wrestler, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
the wrestler tries for a takedown but Can circles away easily and Can makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. the wrestler fails with the takedown and Can counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Can looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Can wants to get up but he can't break the wrestler's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
And that's the end of the fight! Tomato Can comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Can winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
