Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boris Klitscko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Rex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Boris Klitscko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rocky Rex! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Summer Carpenter and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Klitscko rushes Rex and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Klitscko lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Klitscko scores with a shoulder strike.
It looks like Rocky Rex has been cut. Klitscko has Rex pressed against the cage, preventing Rex from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Rex takes a shot to the head. Rex is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Klitscko keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Rex's efforts to push away. Klitscko lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Rex backwards. Klitscko lands with a short shot to the head. Klitscko breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Rex scores with a sloppy right hand. Klitscko should have avoided that one. Klitscko forces Rex back against the cage and clinches. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rex's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Klitscko lands a shot to the body. Klitscko breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Rex misses with a straight left. Klitscko misses with a jab, cross combination.
Klitscko looks to land a left hand but Rex moved out of range nicely. Klitscko gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rex wants to break the clinch but can't.
Klitscko lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Rex backwards. A short right from Klitscko. Klitscko breaks from the clinch.
Klitscko uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rex. Klitscko lands a jab to the nose. Klitscko closes the distance and clinches. Klitscko breaks the clinch.
Boris Klitscko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rex gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Klitscko. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Klitscko throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rex sees it coming and avoids it easily. Rex scores with a hook to the body. Klitscko takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Rex slips a jab and a cross from Klitscko.
Klitscko ducks under a wild hook from Rex. Rex swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Klitscko uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rex. Rex looks gassed! Klitscko darts in and clinches Rex up against the cage. Klitscko escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Klitscko fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rex tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Klitscko was well out of range. Poor timing from Rex. Rex misses with a body shot.
Klitscko misses with a looping right. A swing and a miss from Klitscko. Klitscko drops Rex with a right and a left! Klitscko comes rushing in but Rex regains his composure and manages to keep Klitscko in guard.
Rex is rocked! Klitscko with a flurry of punches that miss. Rex is still in real trouble! Can Klitscko finish him? A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Klitscko accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Klitscko controls from within his opponent's guard. Klitscko in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Klitscko slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Rex seems to have recovered his senses.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
We're going to have a standup here because Boris Klitscko wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Rex misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rex will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Klitscko lands a big right hook! Rex looks hurt but is still standing! Klitscko lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Rex falls down and Klitscko dives in with a huge hammer fist! Rex's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Klitscko runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Boris Klitscko! Boris Klitscko took his opportunity to call for a title shot in his post fight interview.
