Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson is looking to clinch.
Dodson shoots in for a double leg but Johnson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Dodson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johnson's waist but Johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dodson off to one side.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Johnson working for a triangle but Dodson defends it easily.
Dodson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Dodson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Johnson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Johnson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Johnson!

Dodson tries to hold on but Johnson pushes him away.

That was a close round but I would say that John Dodson will probably get the nod.

Johnson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Dodson kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Dodson shoots in looking for a takedown but Johnson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dodson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
