Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Sosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rach Ruch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jim Sosa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rach Ruch! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sosa doesn't manage to clinch there - Ruch circles away.
Ruch tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ruch gets the takedown into side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Sosa is looking for a sweep. Sosa trying his best to control but Ruch has mounted him. Sosa wants to hold on but Ruch pushes him away. Sosa might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ruch looking to control and managing it successfully. Ruch blocks Sosa's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Sosa is looking to get to half guard. The referee warns Sosa that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sosa is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruch working for a submission but Sosa is keeping him at bay. Ruch controlling the position easily from mount. Ruch landing punches. Ruch takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ruch with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! It looks like Ruch might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Ruch jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Sosa manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here. Ruch decides to take the fight back to the feet. Sosa moves into the clinch. Sosa wants to get back to striking at distance but Ruch won't allow it.
Ruch is looking for a takedown. Sosa jumps into guard, dragging Ruch to the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ruch stands up from guard. Let's bang! Ruch tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sosa swats him away and circles back towards the center. Sosa is looking to clinch but Ruch is avoiding it.
Nice sprawl there from Sosa as Ruch shoots in. Sosa tries to clinch up. Sosa misses with a few strikes there.
Ruch wants to clinch but Sosa slips to the side and Sosa counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Sosa. Ruch jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sosa walks away with a smile on his face. Ruch gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Jim Sosa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rach Ruch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ruch misses with a body punch
and Sosa counters with a nice double leg into guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sosa has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ruch is proving hard to escape from. Ruch is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rach Ruch dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
The fight moves into the clinch position. Ruch works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Ruch prevents Sosa from getting back to his feet. Ruch trying to control but Sosa is working from the bottom. Sosa working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ruch doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ruch manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Ruch slips nicely into half guard. Ruch keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruch is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sosa doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ruch. Sosa tries to kick Ruch off in order to stand up. Ruch Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Sosa could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ruch has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Sosa is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Ruch yanks on the arm and Sosa is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Ruch.
