Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Wintzloff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Hosking (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wintzloff's entrance music is slint. A fine choice. Hosking is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: War Machine. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Wintzloff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Matthew Hosking!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wintzloff fails to land the takedown.

Hosking is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Wintzloff's half guard.

Wintzloff feints a jab promting Hosking to slip. Wintzloff then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hosking slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Hosking shoots in for a takedown but Wintzloff shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Hosking tries to close the distance and clinch but Wintzloff swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Wintzloff working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Wintzloff postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Hosking to stand up.

Hosking's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Wintzloff dives in and grabs Hosking's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hosking pushes down on Wintzloff's head and hops out.

Wintzloff shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hosking is trying to defend but Wintzloff finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Horrible takedown by Hosking or perhaps it was just good defense by Wintzloff which made him look bad.
