With a record of 11 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rafeal Djocovito!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shanks lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

It looks like Rafeal Djocovito has been cut.

Djocovito throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Shanks was covering up waiting for the punch and Djocovito finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Shanks working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Djocovito.
Shanks has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Djocovito throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Shanks works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Djocovito is looking to work some ground and pound but Shanks has wrist control.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Shanks throws a leg kick which misses Djocovito's front leg but catches the back leg as Djocovito tries to avoid it.
Michael Shanks is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Shanks throws a shot from downtown. Djocovito moves away and avoids it.
A chopping leg kick lands by Shanks.
Shanks lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Djocovito ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shanks moves away.

Shanks throws a looping overhand right but Djocovito ducks down to avoid it.

Shanks stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Shanks wants it to stay on the feet.
