Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Malcomn Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hakeem Nicks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nicks has chosen Money by i fight dragons as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nicks circles away from the clinch attempt.

Brown throws a looping overhand right but Nicks ducks down to avoid it.

Nicks shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Brown sprawls well. Brown wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nicks gets slowly back to his feet.
Brown fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nicks manages to avoid it.

Nicks tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brown swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Nicks gets tackled into the cage by Brown. Brown maintains the clinch.

Nicks tightens his grip and picks Brown up, before dumping him to the ground. Brown manages to land in guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Nicks is looking to stand up but Brown won't let him.

Brown throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Brown has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Brown not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Nicks is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Brown has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Nicks is looking to defend but Brown has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Nicks! Brown pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Nicks taps out and this one is all over!
