Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harald Loe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyota Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Loe comes to the cage accompanied by AC\DC "Sin city". Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Harald Loe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lyota Machida!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Machida chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Loe can pounce on him.
Lyota Machida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Machida takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Loe walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Machida checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Machida shoots in but no luck this time.
Machida takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Loe lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Machida chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Loe can pounce on him.
Machida looks gassed!
Machida tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Loe clinches.
Loe lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Lyota Machida has been cut.
Loe avoiding damage.
Machida takes an elbow to the temple.
Machida jumps guard but Loe stands there with Machida around his waist. Machida gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Loe unloads a knee to the mid-section. Machida lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Machida tries to pull guard but Loe holds him up against the cage and eventually Machida drops back down to his feet.
Harald Loe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lyota Machida.
Loe lands an elbow inside.
Loe lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Machida backwards.
Machida tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Machida goes for a takedown in the clinch but Loe prevents it.
Machida has Loe pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Loe manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Loe escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Loe cracks the inside of Machida's front leg.
Machida on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Loe. Loe obviously looking to wear him down.
Machida fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Nice elbow from Loe.
Machida takes an elbow to the temple.
Loe breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Loe drives through and clinches with Machida against the cage.
Loe lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
That has opened up Lyota Machida's cut even more.
Loe lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Machida backwards.
Loe breaks the clinch.
Loe throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
A solid leg kick lands there for Loe.
Machida shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Loe is looking to clinch.
Machida's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Loe stuffs the takedown.
Loe fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Machida, pushing him back against the cage.
Machida takes an elbow to the temple.
Machida tries to score a body lock takedown but Loe shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Machida tries to pull guard but Loe won't allow it.
Machida jumps into guard, dragging Loe to the mat.
Machida has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Loe can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Machida keeping moving, preventing Loe from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Loe passes Machida's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Loe moves nicely into side control.
Loe creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Loe content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Loe landing strikes.
Loe landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Machida tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Loe presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Machida tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Machida taking shots to the head.
The referee warns Machida that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Loe has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Loe has hold of Machida's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Machida manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Machida avoids a series of strikes thrown by Loe.
The referee warns Machida that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Loe pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Loe lands a big elbow - Machida is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Machida is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Harald Loe!
