Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between William Hartwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominick Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dominick Faber will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, William Hartwell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dominick Faber! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hartwell rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Faber moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Faber instigates a clinch. Still in the clinch, Faber scores with a nice short uppercut. Hartwell lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Hartwell can't find room to land a body shot as Faber controls the action.
A right handed body shot lands from Faber.
Faber will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Hartwell up against the cage. A quick uppercut on the inside from Faber. Hartwell lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Faber can't find room to land a body shot as Hartwell controls the action.
Faber breaks from the clinch.
Faber closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Faber pulls guard effortlessly. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Faber holds on and takes a little breather. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Faber wants to stand but Hartwell is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hartwell won't allow Faber to sweep him here. Hartwell trying to control the position from guard on top but Faber is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hartwell got a little sloppy there for a moment and Faber has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hartwell has managed to get both his arms back between Faber's legs - danger averted. Faber is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Faber controlling the position. Faber will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Faber working a defensive guard here.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Hartwell stuffs the takedown attempt from Faber. Faber gets slowly back to his feet. Faber pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Faber looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hartwell throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Faber misses with a hook. Hartwell looks to score with a jab to the body but Faber is just out of range. No joy there for Hartwell, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Faber throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Hartwell lands a nice looking body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Faber. Hartwell does a little dance to reset his feet. Hartwell lands with an overhand left. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Faber gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Hartwell works over Faber's head and body with a nice combination. Hartwell scores with the left hand. Faber knows he should have avoided that one. Hartwell lands the left hand. No joy there for Faber, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hartwell smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Hartwell lands with a straight right. Faber didn't see that one coming. Dominick Faber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Faber slips a jab from Hartwell. Hartwell connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Faber tumbling to the canvas! Hartwell pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Faber was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). William Hartwell!
