Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eddy Matsui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pat Franklin will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eddy Matsui!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pat Franklin!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Matsui avoids the head kick by Franklin.
Matsui shoots for a takedown but Franklin saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Franklin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nice sprawl there from Franklin as Matsui shoots in.
Franklin throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Matsui counters with a shoot takedown. Franklin fights it but they end up in guard.
Matsui loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Matsui is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Matsui pushing down on Franklin's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Matsui has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Matsui is looking to stall here but Franklin recovers full guard.
Matsui postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Matsui thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Matsui wants to control from the top but Franklin keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Matsui is pushing down on Franklin's leg trying to pass to half guard. Franklin is fighting to maintain full guard but Matsui has managed to sneak the leg through.
Matsui moves into full mount! Franklin won't be happy about that!
Franklin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Matsui. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Matsui is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Matsui scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Matsui trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Matsui breaks from Franklin's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Matsui can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Franklin is looking to escape.
Matsui raining down shots from the mount!

Matsui tries to control but Franklin wriggling away.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
The referee warns Franklin that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Matsui with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Matsui has control of Franklin's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Franklin regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Franklin slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Matsui is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Franklin is refusing to be controlled, as Matsui sits in half guard.
Matsui wants to work for an arm triangle but Franklin is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Matsui is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Franklin!
Franklin has left one of his arms exposed and Matsui doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Franklin screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
