Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Punk Cara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aksashy Saja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saja is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: scary monsters and nice sprites. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Punk Cara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aksashy Saja!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cara shoots in for a takedown but Saja shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Cara gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Saja counters with a body kick that stops Cara in his tracks momentarily.
Saja throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Saja clinches up with Cara and pushes him back against the cage.
Saja's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Cara shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Saja counters with a crisp one two that drops Cara! Saja thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Cara to his feet! Cara is in big trouble!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Punk Cara. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cara is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Saja displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cara.
Cara gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Saja counters with a nice low kick that buckles Cara's knee momentarily.
Saja moves into the clinch.
Saja manages to break the clinch.
Punk Cara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Saja misses with a jab, cross combination.
Saja lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Saja drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Cara is rocked!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Saja gets to his feet. Cara looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Oh Cara is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Saja lands with a big right hook that stumbles Cara - he's out on his feet here! Saja follows up with another monster hook that separates Cara from consciousness! Cara falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Saja stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Aksashy Saja!
After the fight, Aksashy Saja was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
