Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jared Curtis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Master Puncher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jared Curtis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Master Puncher! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shirou Masuda and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Curtis gets a double leg takedown into Puncher's guard. Curtis might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Curtis trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Curtis trying to control the position from guard on top but Puncher is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Puncher utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Curtis wants to control from the top but Puncher keeps moving. Puncher really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Curtis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Curtis chips away with some ground and pound. Puncher is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Curtis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Puncher keeping moving, preventing Curtis from controlling successfully. Curtis throws an elbow that misses. Puncher uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Curtis's guard. Nice move by Puncher! Puncher keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Curtis's head. Curtis avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Curtis not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Curtis keeping moving, preventing Puncher from controlling successfully. Curtis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Puncher can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Puncher must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Curtis controls Puncher momentarily but Puncher frees himself. Puncher postures up in Curtis's guard and throws a big left but Curtis blocks it. Puncher throws a strike but Curtis rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Curtis wants to control from the top but Puncher keeps moving. Puncher looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Puncher looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Puncher can't keep his opponent in guard - Curtis advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Curtis is keen to just control but Puncher is a slippery customer. Curtis is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Puncher is looking for a sweep. Curtis is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Curtis is trying to control. Puncher wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Curtis thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Puncher's head. Curtis wants to free his trapped foot but Puncher is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Puncher slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Puncher is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Curtis trying to control the position from guard on top but Puncher is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Curtis trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Curtis wants to control from the top but Puncher keeps moving. Curtis stopping the sweep attempt from Puncher.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Jared Curtis just wasn't active enough. The fight moves into the clinch position. Curtis changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Puncher fights it off and pushes away nicely.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Puncher moves into range and clinches up with Curtis. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jared Curtis dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Puncher moves into the clinch. A short right from Puncher. Curtis throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Curtis has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Puncher is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Puncher lands with a right to the head. Puncher lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Curtis backwards. Puncher lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Curtis tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Puncher just stands there and leans against the cage. Curtis wants a takedown but no success here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jared Curtis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Puncher slows down the pace here.
Puncher lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. A nice left hand lands by Puncher.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Curtis is on top in guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Puncher looking for a sweep. Not yet Puncher, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Curtis wants to control from the top but Puncher keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Curtis chips away with some ground and pound. Curtis throwing strikes but missing. Curtis trying to control but Puncher is working from the bottom. Curtis throwing strikes but missing. Puncher is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Puncher working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Curtis. Curtis won't allow Puncher to sweep him here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Curtis throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Puncher works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Puncher keeping moving, preventing Curtis from controlling successfully. Curtis engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Curtis looking to pass the guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Curtis being controlled here momentarily.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Puncher wants to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Puncher slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Curtis ducks right into an uppercut from Puncher. Puncher scores with a jab. Puncher with a jab. Curtis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Puncher tries to close the distance and clinch up but Curtis swats him away and circles back towards the center. This has been an exciting period of action! Puncher misses with a wild combination.

Curtis goes for a takedown attempt but Puncher pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Master Puncher showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Curtis is rocked! A nice left hand lands by Puncher.
Oh Curtis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Puncher dips a shoulder and cracks Curtis with a mighty uppercut! Curtis falls back against the cage and Puncher unloads with a barrage of strikes! Curtis is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Puncher screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Master Puncher!
