Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Turnham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zero comes to the cage accompanied by José the Bronx Rican - Spittin' Narcicism. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Shane Turnham was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Max Zero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Shane Turnham!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Bruno Hogan and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zero fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Turnham drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Zero manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Turnham looking for submissions off his back.

Zero is working for a submission of some sort.

Zero is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Turnham defends it well.
Turnham really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zero. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Turnham is defending against the submission attempts here by Zero.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Zero looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Turnham is looking to get back to full guard here but Zero has managed to pass to side control instead.

Zero working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Zero tries for a kimura but Turnham is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Zero has hold of Turnham's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Turnham tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Zero cranks the arm and Turnham screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Turnham, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Max Zero!
A loyal slave to those sponsorship dollars, Max Zero made sure he mentioned Hell's Balls Recovery (160), along with how happy he was to win his fight.
