Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gustavo Ribeiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rockson Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rua has chosen Travis Barker Remix Soulja Boy as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua misses with a looping left.

Rua does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Ribeiro shoots in looking for a takedown. Rua tries to sprawl out of it but Ribeiro keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rua manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ribeiro uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rua.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ribeiro crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Rua - the referee stops the clock and Ribeiro gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Rua. Ribeiro manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Ribeiro drops his hands momentarily and Rua takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

and Rua cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Rua defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ribeiro.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
