He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andrew Wiggin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chad Holdren!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiggin is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Holdren moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Wiggin tries to clinch up but Holdren circles away and keeps his distance.
Holdren moves out of range of the strikes.

Wiggin moves into the clinch.
Wiggin lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Wiggin with a knee to the head.
Holdren looks gassed!
Wiggin is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Wiggin blocks a body shot from Holdren.
Wiggin with a knee to the head.


Holdren is rocked!
Wiggin with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Holdren is still on wobbly legs! Can Wiggin finish him?
Holdren has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Wiggin unloads a knee to the mid-section. Holdren lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Holdren seems to have recovered his senses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wiggin connects with a knee to the head.
Wiggin landing knees to the head.
Wiggin connects with a nasty looking knee right to Holdren's face.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wiggin will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Holdren up against the cage.
Wiggin jerks Holdren's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Holdren drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Wiggin goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Wiggin because Holdren was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Andrew Wiggin!
