Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marshal Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanders comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sand Man-Metallica. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bruce Sanders! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marshal Brown! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sanders swivels and escapes. Sanders moves into the clinch. Sanders lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Brown misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Sanders wants the takedown. Brown is fighting it off but Sanders persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Brown's guard against the cage. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Brown has a closed guard, preventing Sanders from standing up. Sanders trying to control the position from guard on top but Brown is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sanders decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Brown, up you get! Sanders drives through and clinches with Brown against the cage.
Sanders has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Brown is trying to keep an underhook but Sanders manages to get the takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brown blocking the ground and pound attempt from Sanders. Sanders is taking a breather. Brown says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanders tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Brown. Sanders takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Brown gets full guard. Sanders wants to stand but Brown has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Sanders looking to pass the guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sanders accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown trying to control the position here. Brown had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sanders defends it easily. Sanders wants to pass the guard but Brown is keeping the position. Brown wants to sweep but no luck. Sanders gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown shoots in and drives through. Sanders sprawls well. Brown moves into the clinch. Sanders lands with a left to the head.
It looks like Marshal Brown has been cut. Sanders has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Brown clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Brown trying to control the hands but Sanders breaks the grip. Sanders patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Sanders has good solid back control here. Brown turns into Sanders and is now in his guard.
Sanders manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brown is looking to get to half guard. Sanders looking to control and managing it successfully. Sanders moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Brown has worked his arm free - good work by Brown!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Brown is trying to escape and get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bruce Sanders dominated that round. The cut man is working on Marshal Brown's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Sanders lands a jab-cross combination. Brown takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Bruce Sanders is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sanders looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brown is fending him off so far but Sanders persists. Nope, Brown circles away and we're back to standing. Brown scores with a one two! Sanders had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Bruce Sanders has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sanders fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sanders darts in and clinches Brown up against the cage. Sanders looking for a takedown. Sanders tries to score a body lock takedown but Brown shows good agility there to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruce Sanders. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sanders wants to take the fight to the mat but Brown manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Sanders throws a head punch that misses. Sanders lands a shoulder strike. Sanders wants to break the clinch but can't.
Brown can't find room to land a body shot as Sanders controls the action.

Sanders lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Brown backwards. Brown swings wildly with an uppercut but Sanders uses good head movement to avoid it. Sanders has hold of one of Brown's legs. Brown is fighting the takedown attempt but Sanders gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Sanders lands a couple of digs. Sanders trying to control but Brown is working from the bottom. Sanders scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanders loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Bruce Sanders overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Sanders trying to control the position from guard on top but Brown is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brown is trying to hold Sanders in close to prevent damage but Sanders has managed to pass into half guard.
Brown wants to get back to full guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sanders wants to stand up but Brown has a hold of him and won't allow it. Brown has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sanders is working away from the top position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Sanders is trying to control the action in half guard but Brown is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Marshal Brown wasn't active enough on the ground. Brown shoots in and drives through. Sanders sprawls well. Sanders darts in and clinches Brown up against the cage. Sanders lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Sanders pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Sanders misses with a jab, cross combination.
Brown looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Sanders gets in close and instigates a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanders lands a left hand that snaps the head of Brown backwards. Brown misses with a hook to the ribs.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Sanders. Sanders is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Sanders lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Brown goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Sanders creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brown stops a takedown attempt from Sanders.
Sanders takes an elbow to the forehead. Brown has a couple of punches blocked by Sanders.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sanders is trying to break free. Bruce Sanders has scored more points in the clinch so far. Sanders can't find room to land a body shot as Brown controls the action.
Sanders tries to score a body lock takedown but Brown shows good agility there to stay on his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's going to sap some energy. Brown moves into range and clinches up with Sanders. Brown misses with a punch to the body.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruce Sanders. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sanders lands a shot to the body. Brown looking to throw knees to the head but Sanders is blocking nicely.
Sanders has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Brown after a bit of a struggle. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Brown has Sanders pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Brown pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Sanders tumbling to the mat - Brown dives into Sanders's guard. Brown trying to control the position from guard on top but Sanders is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brown takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanders lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Brown! Sanders throwing strikes but Brown uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Sanders escapes and gets back to his feet. Sanders misses with a jab, cross combination.
Brown rushes Sanders and presses him up against the cage. Sanders is looking for a takedown.

Brown is trying to maintain a safe position but Sanders gets an underhook and turns Brown into the cage. Sanders goes for a takedown attempt but Brown pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Sanders defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Brown. Sanders darts in and clinches Brown up against the cage. Brown is pressed up against the cage. Sanders has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Brown down to the mat. Brown avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Sanders changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brown tries to avoid it but Sanders manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brown to the ground. Brown escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Brown tries for a takedown but Sanders sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sanders tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Sanders looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Brown keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. The fight stays on the outside here - Brown looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Brown wants to clinch up but Sanders keeps it at a distance. Sanders shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brown as he jumps to the side. Brown gets the takedown into side control. Bruce Sanders is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Brown landing a few strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brown wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sanders keeps working. Brown wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sanders, who protects the arm well. Brown scoring with punches from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanders sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Brown seems to be working for a kimura but Sanders defends the submission attempt. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sanders wants to get back to full guard. Sanders is trying to stand up here but Brown is controlling him well. Sanders is refusing to be controlled, as Brown sits in half guard. Brown thows a huge punch but Sanders dodges it nicely.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Brown is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Sanders still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Sanders has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Sanders decides to stand back up. Sanders steps back and let's Brown get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Marshal Brown. Well Sanders has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
