Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hutch Gibson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fighter is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: RENEGADE MASTER. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hutch Gibson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Steve Fighter! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fighter scores with a kick to the midsection. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Gibson, right into the meat.
Fighter throws a nice looking combination but Gibson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Gibson dodges the punch combination from Fighter.
Fighter will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fighter throws a series of punches but Gibson avoids them all with ease. Fighter throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gibson throws a leg kick but Fighter sees it coming and checks it nicely. Gibson slips a straight right by Fighter. Fighter throws a series of punches but Gibson moves out of range. Fighter gets tackled into the cage by Gibson. Gibson maintains the clinch. Gibson breaks from the clinch.
Gibson throws a leg kick that misses. Gibson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Fighter's head backwards. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fighter tries to work over Gibson's front leg with a kick but Gibson checks it. Gibson checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Fighter lands with a nice body punch. Fighter takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Gibson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Fighter. That kick from Gibson tenderised Fighter's leg. Fighter is trying to keep his angry face on. Fighter looks gassed! Gibson fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. A chopping leg kick lands by Gibson.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gibson throws a leg kick which misses Fighter's front leg but catches the back leg as Fighter tries to avoid it. Gibson misses with a low kick.
Gibson throws a front kick aimed at Fighter's knee but Fighter avoids it well. Gibson lands an overhand right.
It looks like Steve Fighter has been cut. Gibson lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Gibson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Fighter has hold of Gibson's hands but Gibson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Gibson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Fighter is trying to get back to full guard. Gibson is trying to control. Fighter wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Fighter taking some punishment here, with Gibson in his half guard. Gibson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fighter with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gibson sitting and controlling from the half guard. Fighter trying to control here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gibson with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Fighter looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Gibson winds up and cracks Fighter with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Gibson lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gibson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Fighter actively working from the bottom here. Gibson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fighter keeps working. Fighter taking some punishment here, with Gibson in his half guard. Ground and pound from Gibson. Gibson is looking to take a break and control but Fighter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Fighter on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Fighter is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gibson lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Fighter! More strikes land and this one is all over! Gibson jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
