The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Grant pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Santos connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Santos keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Grant.
Santos fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Grant misses with a two punch combination.
Santos connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Grant's hands.
Santos jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Santos scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Santos lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Santos lands a head shot.
Santos scores with a nice right hand.
Santos is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Santos keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Santos fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Santos feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Grants jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Santos is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Grant's half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Grant is refusing to be controlled, as Santos sits in half guard.

Santos seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Grant is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Pablo Santos decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
