Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Mayhem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alecxsander Pitpitunge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pitpitunge comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Never Say Die kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pitpitunge doesn't manage to clinch there - Mayhem circles away.
Pitpitunge gets caught flat footed, as Mayhem shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Pitpitunge can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mayhem controls the pace.
Pitpitunge is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mayhem accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Mayhem pushes down on Pitpitunge's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Pitpitunge really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mayhem. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mayhem decides to stand up, so the ref orders Pitpitunge to his feet.

Mayhem slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Mayhem has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jason Mayhem wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Mayhem throws out a leg kick but Pitpitunge moves out of range and Mayhem only half commits.
Pitpitunge clinches.
Pitpitunge tries to land a knee to the head but Mayhem blocks with his arms.
Mayhem has a couple of punches blocked by Pitpitunge.
Pitpitunge is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Mayhem tries to land knees in the clinch but Pitpitunge avoids the damage to the body.
Pitpitunge jumps into guard, dragging Mayhem to the mat.

Pitpitunge wants to stand but Mayhem is controlling the position.

Mayhem tries to clinch up
and Pitpitunge counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Pitpitunge must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Pitpitunge counters with a big head kick but Mayhem shrugs it off.

Mayhem drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Pitpitunge tries to hold on but Mayhem pushes him away.

Mayhem scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Mayhem tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Pitpitunge is in a horrible position here. Mayhem smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The referee warns Pitpitunge that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Mayhem jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Pitpitunge manages to avoid the submission attempt.

You can see the frustration on Pitpitunge's face as Mayhem controls the position.
Pitpitunge takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pitpitunge seems a little lost for a moment, as Mayhem dominates the positioning.
Mayhem's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Mayhem has hold of Pitpitunge's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Pitpitunge seems comfortable defending it but Mayhem has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Pitpitunge is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Pitpitunge is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Mayhem couldn't care less - he's delighted!
