Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Cready (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cready comes to the cage accompanied by Cready Stomp. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Cready! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Thomas Gracie! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cready avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gracie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cready defends it nicely. Cready throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gracie was covering up waiting for the punch and Cready finishes the takedown easily into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Cready throws an elbow that misses. Gracie uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Cready's guard. Nice move by Gracie! Cready has Gracie pulled in close to control his posture. Gracie stands up from guard. Let's bang! Gracie throws a body punch but Cready moves out of range. Gracie is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cready sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cready looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Gracie shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cready sprawls well. Cready wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet. Mark Cready has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Gracie. Gracie throws a leg kick but Cready sees it coming and moves out of range. Cready fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Gracie gets caught flat footed, as Cready shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Cready content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cready missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Cready postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Cready throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gracie works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cready stays in close to Gracie's body and controls the position. Gracie has his foot on Cready's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cready works his way back into a safe position though. Cready wants to pass the guard but Gracie is keeping the position. Cready content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Gracie keeping moving, preventing Cready from controlling successfully. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cready lands a couple of digs. Gracie preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Cready trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom.

Cready wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving. Cready throwing strikes but missing. Gracie has momentary wrist control but Cready slips an elbow through the middle. Gracie wants to sweep here but Cready controlling him for the moment. Gracie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cready doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cready manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Gracie looks gassed! Cready keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Gracie's head.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gracie's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gracie taking some punishment here, with Cready in his half guard. Cready working over Gracie with some ground and pound. Gracie looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cready dives in and grabs Gracie's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gracie pushes down on Cready's head and hops out. Cready blocks a head kick by Gracie.
Gracie leaves Cready with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Gracie tries to clinch but Cready is having none of it. Cready avoids the head kick by Gracie.
Gracie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cready's waist but Cready gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gracie off to one side. Gracie tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cready swivels and escapes. Gracie fails with an attempt to clinch.
Thomas Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gracie fails in his attempt to clinch. Gracie doesn't succeed with the takedown and Cready counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gracie won't be happy with that. Mark Cready has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Gracie. Cready landing a few strikes. Gracie is breathing heavily.

Cready not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
And that's the end of the fight! Mark Cready showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cready, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
