The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Siwon is trying hard to land a takedown here. Godo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Siwon jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Godo walks away with a smile on his face. Siwon gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Siwon displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Godo throws out the jab.

Siwon takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Godo throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Siwon on the side of the head.

Godo swings for the body but Siwon moves out of range.

Siwon walks into a left hand.
Siwon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Godo tries to avoid it but Siwon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Godo to the ground. Godo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Siwon fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Godo avoids it really well and circles away.
Siwon moves forwards but Godo connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Siwon takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Godo throws a right hand that Siwon ducks under and follows up with a left that Siwon also avoids with ease.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Godo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
