Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mark Dunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Braden Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dunn comes to the cage accompanied by Diary of a Madman. Turk comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Status Quo - Deeper and Down kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Braden Turk has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Dunn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Braden Turk! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Franklyn Lucas and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turk lands a right hook to the body.
Turk connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Dunn tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Turk manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Turk tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Dunn fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Turk with a hook. Turk just misses with a punch to the body.
Dunn slips under a jab from Turk. Turk lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Dunn changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Turk looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Dunn working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Turk tries to buck Dunn off but Dunn is having none of it. Sloppy strikes there by Dunn. Turk avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Dunn. Turk is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Dunn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Dunn won't allow Turk to sweep him here. Dunn wants to control from the top but Turk keeps moving. Dunn postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Dunn in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Turk controls Dunn momentarily but Dunn frees himself. Dunn is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dunn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Dunn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Turk swivels though and keeps the full guard. Turk is trying to control the position but Dunn postures up. Dunn throws a big right hand that misses. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Turk trying to control the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Dunn trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Turk manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Dunn manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Dunn goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Turk turns into him and now he's in Dunn's guard.

Dunn is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Turk throws a big right hand that misses. Turk stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dunn swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dunn had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Turk defends it easily. Turk pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dunn is keeping the position for now. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dunn is trying to control the position but Turk postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Mark Dunn will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Turk slips a jab and a cross from Dunn.
Turk's jab looks to have found its range, popping Dunn under the eye. That kick from Dunn tenderised Turk's leg. Turk is trying to keep his angry face on. Turk circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dunn throws a series of punches but Turk avoids them all with ease. Turk dodges the punch combination from Dunn.
Dunn throws a low kick, looking for Turk's leg but Turk calmly moves out of range. Dunn tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Dunn tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Turk throws a shot from downtown. Dunn moves away and avoids it. Dunn does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. A nice inside leg kick there by Turk. That's going to slow Dunn down. Dunn moves into the clinch. Dunn scores with a nice hook to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dunn changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Turk fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Dunn blocks a leg kick. Dunn checks a low kick from Turk. Dunn tries to close the distance and clinch but Turk swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Dunn swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Turk throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dunn misses with a low kick as Turk jumps back. Turk lunges at Dunn with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Dunn's hand. Turk throws a lazy right hand but Dunn sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Turk throws a shot from downtown. Dunn moves away and avoids it. Turk throws a nice head kick!
Braden Turk seems to be getting the better of the standup. Dunn scores with a nice right hand.
Dunn lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dunn staying out of range there. Turk misses with a wild combination.
Dunn slips under a jab from Turk. Dunn is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dunn misses with a lunging right hand
and Turk counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Dunn is rocked! The fight stays on the outside here - Dunn looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Oh Dunn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Dunn tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Dunn seems to have got his legs back now. A jab lands there for Turk. Dunn misses with a head kick.
Turk closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dunn circles away. Turk moves out of range of the body kick from Dunn.
Dunn is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Turk missing with a left hand there. Dunn was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Dunn moves out of range as Turk strikes. Turk swings for the body but Dunn moves out of range.
Dunn takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Turk takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Dunn lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Turk misses with a body shot.
Dunn tries to work over Turk's front leg with a kick but Turk checks it. Dunn connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Dunn shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Turk sprawls well. Turk wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dunn gets slowly back to his feet. Turk tries to sprawl but Dunn drives through with a takedown into half guard. Turk is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dunn pulls his head out easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Turk wants to improve his position but Dunn is controlling well.
Dunn tries to pass to full mount but Turk defends it. Turk avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Dunn. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Turk is refusing to be controlled, as Dunn sits in half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dunn works his foot free and advances to mount. Turk holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Dunn tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Mark Dunn will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Turk bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Turk wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dunn, who protects the arm well. Dunn manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Dunn gets back to full guard.

Mark Dunn overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Turk trying to pass the guard. Dunn prevents Turk from getting the reversal. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dunn cracks Turk with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
And that's the end of the fight! Mark Dunn showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dunn, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
