Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rashad Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marshall Mathers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes to the cage accompanied by Wu Tang - Triumph. Mathers has chosen Superman as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rashad Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Marshall Mathers! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jackson thuds his right hand into Mathers's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Mathers scores with a jab. Jackson acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Mathers waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jackson. Jackson with a hook. The fighters circling - Mathers throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Jackson closes the distance and clinches. Mathers pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A looping hook to the body misses from Jackson. Mathers does a little dance to reset his feet. Mathers looks to land a right hand but Jackson moved out of range. Mathers walks into a left hand. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Mathers checks a leg kick. Mathers throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Jackson needs to keep his hands up - Mathers had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Rashad Jackson has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jackson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jackson lands in his opponent's guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Jackson won't allow Mathers to sweep him here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mathers looking to control.
Mathers is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Mathers is adopting a defensive guard. Jackson looking to pass the guard. Jackson works a leg free and moves into half guard. Jackson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Jackson wants to pass the guard but Mathers is defending well. Jackson content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Jackson prevents Mathers from standing back up.
Jackson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mathers keeps working. Jackson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mathers trying to control from the bottom.
Jackson wants to take a breather but Mathers is having none of it. Mathers is trying to control but can't.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Jackson lands the left hand. Jackson moves out of range as Mathers strikes. Mathers avoids the body shot from Jackson.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jackson moves out of range of the body kick from Mathers.
Mathers throws a jab but it's blocked by Jackson. Mathers swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jackson lands with a kick to the ribs.
That kick from Mathers tenderised Jackson's leg. Jackson is trying to keep his angry face on. Mathers misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mathers closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Mathers lands a nice leg kick that just misses Jackson's sensitive parts.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson ducks under a wild hook from Mathers. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jackson. Jackson takes one on the button. Mathers uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jackson.
Jackson misses the jab. Mathers finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Mathers throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Jackson on the wrong end of a nice hook. Nice body kick from Jackson. Jackson avoids the head kick by Mathers.
Jackson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mathers pinned against the cage. Mathers gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Mathers lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jackson circles away quickly and effectively.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mathers connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Jackson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mathers.
Jackson avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Jackson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Mathers takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mathers misses with a takedown and Jackson counters with a left to the body. Jackson avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Jackson throws a nice outside leg kick. Jackson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mathers. Mathers throws a hook to the side of Jackson's head but Jackson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Mathers tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jackson was well out of range. Mathers throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Rashad Jackson will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Rashad Jackson's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A jab from Mathers misses. Mathers cracks a nice hook into Jackson's ribs. Mathers throws a sloppy head kick and Jackson moves out of range easily. Jackson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Jackson throws an overhand right that lands on Mathers's shoulder, as Mathers tries to avoid the shot. Jackson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Nice takedown defense from Jackson. No joy for Mathers on that attempt. Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mathers swats him away and circles back towards the center. Mathers misses the jab. Mathers lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Jackson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mathers sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Marshall Mathers seems to be getting the better of the standup. A punch combination from Mathers misses. Mathers connects with a right hand. Jackson shakes it off. A thudding body kick lands there by Mathers!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jackson connects with a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Jackson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jackson fails with a takedown attempt. Jackson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mathers sees it coming and avoids it easily. Jackson scores with a three punch combo!
Jackson moves out of range of the strikes. Mathers lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Mathers throws a lazy head kick and Mathers takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Mathers swings widly with a right hand
and Jackson counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Mathers rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jackson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Jackson tries to clinch there but Mathers circles away.
Mathers misses with a right hand and Mathers takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jackson throws a leg kick but Mathers moved away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A big right from Mathers misses. Mathers feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Jacksons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Nice shot lands for Mathers. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jackson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Mathers misses with a hook
and Jackson counters with a left to the body. Jackson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mathers can pounce on him.
Jackson connects with a jab. Mathers misses with the combination.
Mathers takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Jackson drives through and clinches with Mathers against the cage.
Mathers working hard to break the clinch. Jackson goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Jackson trying to control the position but instead, Mathers has worked for underhooks and has pushed Jackson into the cage. Mathers gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Jackson regains guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson is trying to keep Mathers in close.
Jackson wants to sweep but no luck. Mathers throws a big right hand that misses. Jackson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mathers doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Jackson is tightening it up a little... Mathers has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Mathers reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Mathers taps out! Nice BJJ there by Jackson!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Rashad Jackson! A very excited looking Rashad Jackson made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
