Jackson comes to the cage accompanied by Wu Tang - Triumph. Mathers has chosen Superman as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Jackson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mathers.

Mathers takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Mathers throws a hook to the side of Jackson's head but Jackson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Rashad Jackson will probably get the nod.

Jackson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Jackson throws an overhand right that lands on Mathers's shoulder, as Mathers tries to avoid the shot.
Jackson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Nice takedown defense from Jackson. No joy for Mathers on that attempt.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mathers swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Mathers lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Mathers lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Oh but Jackson is tightening it up a little... Mathers has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Mathers reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Mathers taps out! Nice BJJ there by Jackson!
