The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vera swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Vera connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Lacerda tries for a takedown but Vera sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A thudding body kick lands there by Lacerda!

Lacerda tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lacerda throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Vera lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Lacerda crumples to the floor! Vera milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
