Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between John Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Filipovic Krimo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Daniels! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Filipovic Krimo! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daniels avoids a punch combination nicely.
Krimo darts in trying to clinch and Daniels counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Daniels misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A swing and a miss from Krimo. Daniels throws a sloppy head kick and Krimo moves out of range easily. Krimo tries to clinch up but Daniels circles away and keeps his distance. Krimo throws a right hand that Daniels ducks under and follows up with a left that Daniels also avoids with ease. Krimo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Krimo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Filipovic Krimo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Krimo misses with a jab, cross combination.
Daniels tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Krimo scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Daniels doesn't seem bothered though. Daniels throws a chopping leg kick but Krimo manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Daniels scores with a head kick. Krimo tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Daniels circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daniels takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Krimo misses with a straight left. Krimo closes the distance and clinches. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Daniels as Krimo tries to tie him up. Daniels breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Krimo lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Daniels checks a leg kick. Krimo tries to close the distance and clinch but Daniels swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Krimo has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Daniels. A head kick misses from Krimo. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Krimo crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Daniels - the referee stops the clock and Krimo gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Daniels. Krimo manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Krimo looks gassed! This has been an exciting period of action! Krimo on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Daniels. Daniels obviously looking to wear him down.
Krimo tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Krimo.
Daniels scores with a spinning back kick! A solid body kick from Daniels. Good leg kick by Daniels there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Daniels moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Daniels. Daniels with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

A chopping leg kick lands by Daniels. Krimo takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Krimo takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. A thudding body kick lands there by Daniels!
Daniels dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Krimo. That did some damage!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daniels lands a leg kick that knocks Krimo off balance momentarily. Daniels turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Krimo takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Daniels looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Daniels fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Krimo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Daniels lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Daniels lands a leg kick that knocks Krimo off balance momentarily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Good leg kick by Daniels there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Daniels throws a leg kick which misses Krimo's front leg but catches the back leg as Krimo tries to avoid it. Daniels connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Krimo's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Krimo stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Daniels. Daniels with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A nice inside leg kick there by Daniels. That's going to slow Krimo down. Daniels dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Krimo. That did some damage!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Krimo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Daniels can pounce on him.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Daniels dominated that round. The cut man is working on Filipovic Krimo's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Krimo walks into a perfectly timed head kick by Daniels and drops face first to the floor! Krimo's eyes are wide open but he's not all there - he's just flopping around the mat like a drunk on rollerskates! The referee doesn't even start the count - he's called an end to the fight, with Krimo in no position to continue!
