Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Cash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cristian Romero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cash comes to the cage accompanied by Hurt - Johnny Cash. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Johnny Cash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Cristian Romero! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Romero shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cash as he jumps to the side. Cash cracks the inside of Romero's front leg. A swing and a miss from Cash. Cash misses with an uppercut. Romero saw that one coming. Cash throws a hook but Romero blocks it. Romero is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cash sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Cash connects with a nice looking jab.
Romero slips under a jab from Cash. Romero drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Cash looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Romero working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cash looking to hit a scissor sweep but Romero is one step ahead there. Romero controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Romero trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Cash avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Romero passes Cash's left leg - he's now in half guard. Romero wants to pass the guard but Cash is defending well. Romero is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Cash tries to roll over but Romero keeps him under control. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Romero connects with a nice short shot to Cash's temple. Romero throwing shots but Cash is blocking nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Romero controlling the pace. Romero is trying to control the action in half guard but Cash is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Romero sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Cash blocking the ground and pound attempt from Romero. Romero content to control rather than advance. Romero prevents Cash from improving his position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice strikes from Romero there. Cash won't allow Romero to pass to mount. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Romero throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Romero thows a huge punch but Cash dodges it nicely.
Romero working over Cash with some ground and pound. Cash looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Romero seems to be looking for submissions.
Romero not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Cash is looking to control Romero's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cash avoid being mounted? Cash on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Cash wants to control but Romero is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Romero stops Cash from getting back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Romero slows the pace down in half guard. Romero not landing any meaningful shots this time. Romero has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Romero maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Cash could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Romero has cracked it and Cash is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Romero!
