The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaziev shoots and misses
and Satanae counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Gaziev with a lazy takedown attempt
and Satanae counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Satanae.
Satanae breaks from the clinch.
Gaziev doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Satanae counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Artur Gaziev. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Gaziev throws a left and a right that both miss
and Satanae counters with a straight right hand.
Gaziev fails with the takedown
and Satanae counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Gaziev tries to bum rush Satanae with a series of wild strikes but Satanae uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Satanae drops Gaziev with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gaziev looks back up at him and smiles so Satanae waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Gaziev is rocked!
It looks like Artur Gaziev has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Satanae fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Gaziev square on the jaw! Damn, Gaziev is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
