Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jake Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brooks has chosen Tom Sawyer as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roberts checks a low kick from Brooks.
Roberts doesn't manage to clinch there - Brooks circles away.
Roberts tries to clinch up but Brooks circles away and keeps his distance.
Roberts shoots in looking for a takedown. Brooks tries to sprawl out of it but Roberts keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brooks manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Brooks gets caught napping as Roberts dives in and scores a takedown. Brooks manages to retain guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Brooks will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
