Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xavier Mack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Master Splinter!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Splinter throws a quick inside leg kick.
Splinter is looking to slow Mack down with leg kicks.
Splinter looks for the body kick but Mack saw that one coming.
Mack lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Mack's corner calls for a 1-2. Mack obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Mack misses the shot to the body.
Splinter fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mack has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mack ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Splinter moves away.
Splinter throws a jab but it's blocked by Mack.
Splinter takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Splinter lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Mack has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Mack and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Splinter looks to land a body kick but Mack moved away.
Mack misses with a straight left.
Splinter fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mack.
Splinter uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mack.

Mack connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Splinter momentarily.

Mack connects with a good right hand that stumbles Splinter. Splinter circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Splinter thows a body kick. Mack tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Master Splinter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Mack scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Splinter doesn't seem bothered though.

Splinter throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mack avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Splinter throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Splinter scores with a nice body kick.
Splinter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mack misses with an uppercut.
Nice defenses there by Mack.
Splinter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mack misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Splinter throws a sloppy head kick and Mack moves out of range easily.
Mack shoots in looking for a takedown. Splinter tries to sprawl out of it but Mack keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Splinter manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mack slips a straight right by Splinter.

A slapping leg kick lands for Splinter.
Mack closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Splinter to the mat! Splinter manages to get full guard.

Splinter wants to sweep but no luck.
Mack throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Splinter works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Splinter is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Splinter wants to get back to his feet.
Splinter stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Splinter keeps Mack at a distance using the push kick.
Mack will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mack ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A low kick from Splinter is predictable there
and Mack counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Mack shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Splinter napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Splinter tries to improve position but can't.

Splinter dodges the ground and pound from Mack.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Mack looks up at the clock and then as Splinter takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Mack smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Master Splinter dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Splinter tries to land a front kick but Mack steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Master Splinter seems to be getting the better of the standup.
The fighters circling - Splinter throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Mack lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Splinter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mack manages to avoid it.
Mack thuds a left hand into Splinter's body.
Mack looks to score with a jab to the body but Splinter is just out of range.

Splinter throws a looping overhand right but Mack ducks down to avoid it.
Mack connects with the punch.

Mack throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Splinter throws a push kick but Mack slaps the foot to one side.
Splinter scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Mack closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Splinter's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Mack drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Splinter dives on top into guard.
Splinter won't allow Mack to sweep him here.
Mack can't keep his opponent in guard - Splinter advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Mack regains full guard. Nicely done.

Mack escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Splinter gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Mack escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Splinter gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Splinter got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mack has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Splinter has managed to get both his arms back between Mack's legs - danger averted.

Mack is looking for a triangle but Splinter pushes his legs off easily.
Splinter throwing strikes but missing.
Mack is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Splinter defends well.
Mack wants to sweep here but Splinter controlling him for the moment.

Mack bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Splinter's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Splinter motions for Mack to come forward. Splinter throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Splinter lands a head kick. Mack smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Mack fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Splinter sprawls well initially but Mack persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Mack is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Splinter wants to improve his position but Mack is controlling well.

The strikes coming from Mack are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Mack working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Splinter is looking to reverse the position.

Splinter is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Mack's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Mack thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Splinter's head.

Master Splinter comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Splinter has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
