Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Burak Arslan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Styles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jay Styles has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Arslan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Styles was covering up waiting for the punch and Arslan finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Arslan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Arslan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Arslan prevents Styles from getting back to his feet.
Styles really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Arslan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Arslan slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Burak Arslan.

Styles closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Arslan is looking to control Styles's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Arslan avoid being mounted?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Arslan manages to get to full guard.
Arslan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Arslan throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Arslan lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Styles!

Arslan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Styles really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Styles wants to hold on but Arslan pushes him away.
Arslan controlling the pace for now.

Styles has left one of his arms exposed and Arslan doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Styles screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
