The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Komarov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Engine misses with a takedown attempt - Komarov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Komarov is defended easily by Engine.

and Engine counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Val Engine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Egor Komarov.

Engine drops back looking for a leg! Komarov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Komarov manages to kick Engine off! Engine jumps back into Komarov's guard.
Komarov wants to improve his position but instead Engine has moved into half guard.

Engine has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Komarov defend it? Engine steps over the head and cranks it - Komarov is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Engine!
