0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Blackout Star! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Danga de danga de dang - Star scores with a four punch combination!
It looks like Urie Sergeyev has been cut. Star fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sergeyev avoids it really well and circles away. Sergeyev fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Star shoots for a double leg takedown but Sergeyev sprawls well. He's pushed Star's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A momentary lapse in concentration from Star enables Sergeyev to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Star manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Sergeyev working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Star's head. Star is looking to stand back up but Sergeyev counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Star. Sergeyev thows a huge punch but Star dodges it nicely.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sergeyev is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Sergeyev is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Star sees it coming and defends easily. Sergeyev wants to lay and pray for a moment but Star keeps working. Sergeyev thows a huge punch but Star dodges it nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sergeyev slips a nice elbow through Star's hands, connecting with Star's forehead. Sergeyev wants to pass the guard but Star is defending well. Sergeyev throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Sergeyev is looking to take a break and control but Star is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Star has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sergeyev is working away from the top position though. Sergeyev passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Star! Sergeyev controlling the pace for now. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sergeyev fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Star is rocked! Star looks gassed! Sergeyev postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Star bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Sergeyev and the fight is over!
