Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Borat Sagdiyev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Norman Bates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sagdiyev comes to the cage accompanied by Mamaliga. Bates has chosen Hmmm... Interesting... as his entrance music. Borat Sagdiyev could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Norman Bates's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Borat Sagdiyev! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Norman Bates! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sagdiyev fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bates. Bates throws a hook to the side of Sagdiyev's head but Sagdiyev sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Sagdiyev missing with a left hand there. Bates was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Bates's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sagdiyev connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bates scrambles back to his feet. Bates punishes Sagdiyev's body with a nice straight punch. Bates slips a jab from Sagdiyev. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bates, as that shot connected.
Sagdiyev thows a body shot but no joy. Bates tries to bum rush Sagdiyev with a series of wild strikes but Sagdiyev uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Sagdiyev is looking to slow Bates down with leg kicks. Sagdiyev showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bates.
Sagdiyev missing with a left hand there. Bates was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Sagdiyev on the wrong end of a nice jab. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sagdiyev connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bates scores with a jab to the head.
Bates misses with a looping left. Sagdiyev connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bates momentarily.
Bates avoids the body shot from Sagdiyev.

Bates on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Sagdiyev cracks Bates with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Bates throws a jab but it's blocked by Sagdiyev. Sagdiyev lands a jab.
Bates is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sloppy strikes from Bates. Those never looked like landing. Bates blocks a jab. Sagdiyev drops Bates with a huge uppercut! Bates drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Sagdiyev is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Borat Sagdiyev! Borat Sagdiyev decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
