PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franklyn Vass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrone Vincent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vass comes to the cage accompanied by Highway to Hell (AC/DC). Vincent has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Franklyn Vass has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Franklyn Vass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyrone Vincent!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vass pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Vincent is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Vass.
Vass steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Vincent.
Vincent punishes Vass's body with a nice straight punch.
Vass is trying hard to land a takedown here. Vincent sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Vincent misses with a series of wild punches.
Vass blocks a jab.

Vincent closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Vincent looks gassed!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Vincent is looking to take a break and control but Vass is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Vass is looking to control Vincent's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Vass avoid being mounted?

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Franklyn Vass just wasn't active enough.

Vincent lunges at Vass with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Vass's hand.

Vass clobbers Vincent with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
