Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Spiff Rossi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Xavier Onassis!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rossi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Onassis defends it nicely.
Rossi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Onassis is fending him off so far but Rossi persists. Nope, Onassis circles away and we're back to standing.
Onassis is looking to clinch but Rossi is avoiding it.
Onassis bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Onassis tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Rossi manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Rossi slows the pace down in half guard.
Onassis tries to roll over but Rossi keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Still in half guard, Rossi seems content to control.
Spiff Rossi has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Onassis closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Rossi quickly recovers to half guard.
Onassis is just content to waste time from the top position. Rossi takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Onassis looking to sit in guard and control but Rossi gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Rossi postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rossi postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Rossi passes into half guard.
Onassis trying to get back to full guard but Rossi takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rossi looking to control and managing it successfully.
Rossi is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Rossi extends the arm and Onassis is forced to tap!

Spiff Rossi bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
