Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ping Petunia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Greg Dixon! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Dixon looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Dixon closes this distance looking for a takedown but Petunia circles away. Excellent takedown into side control there by Dixon. Petunia manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Petunia wants to take a breather but Dixon is having none of it. Dixon is looking to improve his position.
Petunia is looking for a kimura but Dixon is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Petunia to get the leverage. Well, if Petunia is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dixon trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Petunia manages to pass to mount!
Petunia jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Dixon manages to avoid the submission attempt. Petunia tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Petunia is trying to get an arm triangle but Dixon is defending well. Petunia working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Petunia is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dixon knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Petunia is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Dixon is trying to escape and Petunia transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Dixon is forced to tap! Nice work there by Petunia! Very nice indeed!
