Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Lankari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peterson comes to the cage accompanied by Remember the Name by Fort Minor. Lankari comes into a darkened arena with his song building. AC/DC - Thunderstruck kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lankari throws a nice head kick!


Peterson is rocked!

Peterson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lankari was covering up waiting for the punch and Peterson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Oh Peterson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Peterson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Peterson can't keep his opponent in guard - Lankari advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Peterson tries to roll over but Lankari keeps him under control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lankari is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Peterson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lankari.

Lankari decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Peterson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lankari keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Peterson's head.

Lankari is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Peterson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Lankari jumps guard and drags Peterson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Well Lankari has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
