Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Darrius Styles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddrick DeMons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Styles stuffs the takedown attempt from DeMons. DeMons gets slowly back to his feet.
DeMons looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Styles changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. DeMons tries to avoid it but Styles manages to keep hold of a leg and drag DeMons to the ground. DeMons escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Styles is looking to work some ground and pound but DeMons has wrist control.
Styles throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Styles has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Styles really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Styles sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed DeMons's guard.
Styles wants to pass to mount but DeMons is defending the position.

Styles looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
DeMons on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Styles lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Styles is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, DeMons has managed to free his arm - good work.
Styles throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Styles looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks DeMons with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
