Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jay Z (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hong Kong Phooey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Z comes into the arena with New York blaring out of the sound system. Phooey has chosen Hong Kong Phooey as his entrance music. Jay Z could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Hong Kong Phooey's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phooey misses with a lunging right hand
and Z connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Z closes the distance and clinches.

Z misses with a body punch.
Phooey tries to land a knee to the head but Z blocks with his arms.
Z breaks the clinch.
Z has managed to clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Z fails to land.
Phooey tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Phooey throws a head punch that misses.
Phooey is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Z is defending well for now.
Phooey tries to throw a body punch but Z avoids it by throwing Phooey back against the cage.

Phooey swings wildly with an uppercut but Z uses good head movement to avoid it.

Phooey lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Z wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Phooey doesn't manage to clinch there - Z circles away.
Z swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Phooey lands a big head kick that sends Z tumbling to the mat! Phooey takes a step backwards and waves Z back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Z is rocked!
Phooey throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Oh Z is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Phooey drops Z with a huge uppercut! Z drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Phooey is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hong Kong Phooey!
