Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Waldemar Moura!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Luis Engracia and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcos slips a jab and a cross from Moura.
Marcos connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Waldemar Moura has been cut.
Moura misses with a right hand
and Marcos counters with a one-two to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Marcos cracks Moura on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Moura falls backwards against the cage. Marcos follows up with more strikes that drop Moura to his knees. Marcos keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Moura! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joao Marcos!
