Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Jeff Smith and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schillaci fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bringer shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Schillaci shoots in for a takedown but Bringer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Schillaci closes the distance and clinches up with Bringer, looking for a takedown. Schillaci pushes Bringer against the cage but Bringer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
David Schillaci seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bringer is stalling here. Schillaci is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Bringer seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Schillaci has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Schillaci enables Bringer to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Schillaci manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bringer postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Schillaci in real trouble here! The ref calls for Schillaci to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
